Wise owl can offer you a range of services including static displays & flying displays. Our flying displays are very family orientated & usually involve children & adults participating.
Our static displays are very hands on and the cost to you is kept down by the public donating to handle the birds. Early booking is recommended as summer weekends get quickly filled, so please get in touch with us asap with your requirements.
Here at Wise Owl, we offer a fun, but educational visit to suit all ages. We have been doing this for over seven years now and can accommodate most requirements. Pupils (and staff) are encouraged to hold the birds on a gloved hand. Please feel free to take photographs. Presentations can be held indoors or out. A flying display is included, usually involving staff “volunteers”. We bring 6-7 birds, including Owls, Hawks and Kestrels.
Sessions cost £110 for the first hour and £90 for any subsequent displays on the same day. We offer a full day for £400.
Here are some photos from school displays we have visited recently, where the school gave us permission to use them. You can see how well the birds and children interact. The kids learn a lot and really get involved. We usually manage to make sure that every child (and the staff too) has the opportunity to hold a bird.
Scout’s/Brownie’s etc are also very popular and run just like a school visit. Prices vary.
Wise owl can offer a terrific alternative to the usual birthday party from 5 to 105 years old. We will bring birds which are appropriate to the age group and can even offer to fly in a small birthday gift. You will get chance to get up close & personal with 5-6 birds so you can get plenty of photos you can cherish forever. We will also give you the chance to fly 3 of the birds depending on age, to yourselves & your guests.
Katrina is a very experienced care worker & entertainments co-ordinator in care homes & nursing homes (including EMI) and delivers a fantastic experience for the clients. Almost all of our home’s re-book us due to the clients requesting us again. We understand the tight budgets you work to & try to work within them. We will bring 5 birds for your clients to hold & even have the birds fly to the more able. For the less mobile, we are willing to visit rooms with one owl for that personal touch.
You & your guests will be amazed as a barn owl (other birds available) silently flies down the aisle to deliver your rings on a silk ribbon to the best man or the groom. This is sure to make your wedding a magical day that will never be forgotten.
What a fantastic addition to your wedding photos & video this would make. Your chosen bird will wait until to end of the ceremony so you & your guests will get even more opportunities to capture this memorable experience. All our birds are fully trained and experienced.
We offer various packages:
• Barn owl ring bearing with photo opportunities for the bride & groom.
• Full package including ring bearing & a static display with 4-5 birds.
• Static display only at your church/reception or even as an entertainment for you & your guests between your ceremony & reception or evening event.
All these packages can be tailored to your specific requirements.
